In 2953, the planetary insurance company APE hires you as an advisor. You'll work around the clock on their APE Starfarer station, travelling from system to system and responding to requests for help from the company's client planets. Send probes to ascertain the exact nature of the problems, then choose the type of help you send accordingly.

APE is one of the many intergalactic insurance companies in existence. They specialise in insuring entire planets and civilisations. They began to make a name for themselves with their 'Planet All Risk' offer, promising you protection for your rock at a lower cost.

Competition between insurance companies is fierce, and it's not unusual for profit to come before morality. Understaffing, inhuman working hours, questionable moral choices - anything goes to stand out from the competition, and it's you, the little employee, who suffers the consequences.

Stay focused, study and prioritize the crises you receive. Assign the right device to the right planet and the right problem, while keeping your eye on your objectives: keeping your job and providing for your family!
